Great news for fans ofIntervilles. The cult program that has been missing from the screens for several years is preparing to return to France Télévisions. And this, from next summer !
Formerly hosted by Guy Lux, the legendary game which pits two cities against each other will now be under the leadership of Nagui, accompanied by a team full of energy, with Bruno Guillon in the lead. However, this new version is not unanimous among viewers, who already seem nostalgic for the original spirit.
Simone Garnier,: “It made a large part of our success”
Several mayors have already indicated that they would boycott the show if the emblematic cows were put aside. An element that Simone Garnierformer host ofIntervilles, also seems to regret.
“I regret them because the cows burst the screen and I must say that they were indescribable. (…) The cows were an idea of Guy Lux who had discovered it in the region and it was a large part of our success“, she recently confided to the microphone of France Blue.
Despite her disappointment, the nonagenarian nevertheless assured that she will be well seated in front of her screen to celebrate the return of the program.
Jean-Pierre Foucault cash on the return of Intervilles
Like Simone Garnier, Jean-Pierre Foucault is not for a return ofIntervilles without the cows. “Intercity without the cows, I don't like it at all“, he explained in an interview with Ciné Télé Revue. “It's no longer Intervilles (…) Today, we can no longer do anything, we can no longer say anything without being accused of all the sins of the earth. It's a bit of a shame“.
And Philippe Corti, the DJ of the show between 2005 and 2008, adds in the columns of Free Midday : “Guy Lux must be turning in his grave! Nagui asked me if I would like to come back if he did Intervilles. No, without cows, it's no. Otherwise we would have to do the swimming Olympics without water in the pool, on concrete! It's good thinking, Nagui is woke“. A clear opinion which provoked strong reactions.
On X (formerly Twitter), many Internet users gave him their support after his refusal to join the version of Mélanie Page's companion.
