This is a ranking expected every year. The Sunday Newspaper and Ifop have produced the ranking of the 50 favorite personalities of the French. But in the end, first place is unsurprisingly occupied by the same person: Jean-Jacques Goldman. Unbeatable. He occupies this place for the fifteenth time, according to the poll, he is getting closer and closer to the record held by Commander Jacques-Yves Cousteau, elected 20 times.

The singer places himself in front of Omar Sy and the gold medalist at the Paris Olympics, triple Olympic individual champion: judoka Teddy Riner.

The Olympics effect

The Paris Olympics had a big impact on this year's rankings. In addition to Teddy Riner, Léon Marchand rises to fifth place. Rugby player Antoine Dupont, crowned with the French rugby sevens team, enters in eighth place, and the Lebrun brothers rank in thirty-first position.
