Le comédien québécois Julien Poulin s’est éteint samedi à l’âge de 78 ans. Il est apparu dans plusieurs dizaines de films et séries télévisées.

Sa mort a été confirmée à La Presse par son agente Eugénie Gaillard, dimanche, en milieu de journée.
Icône du cinéma québécois, Julien Poulin a incarné au grand écran un des personnages les plus célèbres du cinéma d’ici.
« Il aimait les gens et tout le monde l’aimait », confie l’acteur Michel Barrette, avec qui il a partagé l’écran dans la série Rock et Rolland, diffusée sur TVA au début des années 2010.
« Chacune de ces longues journées [de tournage] were filled with happiness and laughter, because he was so funny, bright, attentive… He wanted everyone to be happy on the set,” he says.
Julien Poulin is particularly known for having played the role of Elvis Gratton in several films directed by Pierre Falardeau, of whom he was a great friend.
