AI: Nvidia attracts attention on the first day of CES in Las Vegas

Jensen Huang, the boss of the largest semiconductor company in the world, spoke at CES, the major consumer technology show in Las Vegas (United States), this Monday, January 6. He unveiled the future chips that will equip certain PCs in the near future.

Promising cheaper and more efficient chips, the company director wants to make artificial intelligence tools even more accessible to consumers.

Powerful graphics cards for AI

The Californian company is hitting hard with these new chips. Announced as more powerful and less expensive, they are also presented as more efficient.

In fact, the manufacturer announces that the latter, once equipped on computers, would allow an extension of autonomy by 40%.

Capable of improving the physical rendering of images on computers, graphics cards are also important for the proper functioning of certain interfaces.

With these latest processors, Nvidia now promises to run generative AI interfaces, previously impossible to run on a traditional computer.

The manager also mentioned that the price of a laptop equipped with the least advanced version of the GeForce RTX 50 would be sold at $1,299.

With these more powerful processors, reserved for a time for the cloud and data centers, the semiconductor company sets the tone for the next announcements at the most important technology show of the year.
