Alexandre Astier will have to honor this promise once the saga is over

After several years of waiting, Alexandre Astier recently revealed the release date of Kaamelott: Second Part. Good news for fans, who are waiting to know the continuation of the adventures of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. To celebrate the twentieth anniversary of Kaamelott on television, Alexandre Astier revealed what he will do at the end of the saga.

News around Kaamelott is going to be very rich during this year 2025. Indeed, while volume 11 of the comic strip should be released Kaamelotttitled Arthur vs. the Silence Soldier, Alexandre Astier recently announced that the continuation of the saga will return to cinemas this fall, with the release on October 22, 2025 of Kaamelott: Second Part (part 1). The feature film therefore becomes one of the cinematographic events of the year which has just begun. There is no doubt that it should attract many spectators to the multiplexes, eager to discover the continuation of the adventures of Arthur Pendragon. Furthermore, 2025 is also a year of celebration for fans of Kaamelott since Alexandre Astier’s series made its debut on M6 on January 3, 2005 and therefore celebrated its twentieth anniversary yesterday. This is enough to give us a huge look of age, isn’t it? Moreover, we recently published a file in which we look back at fifteen films which will celebrate their twentieth anniversary this year. But back to Arthur! Indeed, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the first broadcast of Kaamelott on television, Alexandre Astier published a text on his social networks.

The opportunity for us to learn that Joëlle Sevilla, mother of Alexandre Astier and interpreter of Dame Séli in the series, stole a stone of “contender for the real Camelot and that the creator of the series is committed to returning it once the saga is finished. Fortunately for the fans and unfortunately for the remains of Cadbury Castle, it is not for the immediate future. Alexandre Astier has not quite finished working on Kaamelott: Second Part and must then write and direct the conclusion of the saga.
