Jeff Bezos’ end-of-year celebrations are definitely not going as planned. After having to deny persistent rumors of a wedding on December 28 in Aspen, in the United States, the American billionaire would have seen his yacht being searched on New Year’s Day. Supporting photos, “Page Six” explains that two customs officers searched his luxurious boat, estimated at 500 million euros, for more than three hours, while it was anchored off the coast of Saint-Barth, in the Caribbean.
According to our colleagues, it was a simple “routine check” and during this long search, Lauren Sánchez, his companion, remained sunbathing on the pontoon in a Versace bikini, in the company of her ex-boyfriend Tony Gonzalez, with whom she shares a 23-year-old son, Nikko. It must be said that searches are frequent off the coast of this French island, popular with billionaires, where it is forbidden to hold more than 10,000 euros in cash without first declaring it to the authorities and where the fight against cocaine is daily.
Jeff Bezos, however, did not appear to be present on his yacht at that time and refused to make any comment.
