‘How beautiful’, singer acclaimed after revealing rare footage of his son

Vianney once again in a good position in the ranking of best record sales in France this week. He has just published a reissue of his latest album At 2 to 3 released last year and including around ten unreleased tracks recorded with other artists just as popular as him, such as Kendji Girac and Soprano, or others met during the filming of the TV show The Voice of which he became one of the most emblematic coaches (Zazie, Mika, Bigflo & Oli…). The new version notably includes additional duets with Gazo, Nej and Rosa Linn – Where Do I Go -, whose clip filmed in the snowy mountains has just been unveiled for the end of year celebrations.

In the process, the interpreter of Me loving you had published photos on Instagram taken shortly before his loved ones joined him around the table to celebrate Christmas Eve. His admirers had also praised the other photos showing him unwrapping gifts at the foot of the tree, a Santa hat on his head. “On Christmas Eve, I like to tell myself that we must realize how lucky we are, and think of those who are less fortunate. I think of each of you, the lucky and the less fortunate, and wish you lots of peace and love”he wrote in the caption, before publishing a “end of year live”.

Very close to his admirers despite the fact that he had decided to take a stage break and to withdraw more to enjoy his family life, Vianney once again delighted his audience with the posting online of a video compiling its best moments of the year 2024Wednesday January 1, 2025. “From a Victoire de la Musique at Notre-Dame, through my life as a husband and forester (step)dad that you know less: here is my 2024!”he announced, before continuing: “Thank you for always being so present, despite my songs without a tour, my feet on the chair, & my zero-effort on the red carpets”. Far from the media sphere, the man who recently deleted his X account (ex-Twitter) after writing a public message in support of Gisèle Pelicot on the occasion of the opening of the Mazan trial in September is now pushing the doors to his privacy.

In this retrospective, the 33-year-old singer includes some images of his cellist wife Catherine Robert and their son, Edgarborn in October 2021. The complicity between a father and his son is visible and particularly affects Internet users, as we can see when reading the comments posted in response to the video. “Thank you for sharing all these lovely moments with us”, “You are wonderful Vianney. I cried, very moved. The best for you and your family”, “What a man who is so wonderful and at the same time so simple! Others will perhaps be more sensitive to the images of the personalities with whom he has collaborated recently, and highlighted in this recap, like Gauvain Sers and Renaud, but also Patricia Kaas, Florent Pagny et Zaz. Indeed, indirectly Vianney is teasing the next season of talent show The Voicethe launch date of which is not yet known. We simply know that the rules will change, and that Bigflo & Oli and Mika will give up their place as coach to the two singers mentioned.
