“She is always afraid…”: Rachida Dati makes rare confessions about her daughter Zohra

Wednesday June 26, 2024, Rachida Dati was the guest of Cyril Hanouna on Europe 1, in the show We walk on the head. The Minister of Culture was questioned by listeners. One person asked him whatshe planned to hold in the event of a second round of legislative elections between the National Rally and the New Popular Front.

For the moment, the minister refuses to comment on such a scenario. “I don’t want to do that because it means you get a little defeated and that’s not my style. It’s not to distract me, it’s not my style either since I say what I think but I believe in it“, she responded initially.

Rachida Dati does not want to comment on the second round of the legislative elections

Faced with the insistence of the listener who wanted Rachida Dati to plan ahead, she explained that on Sunday evening she was going to meet all the members of the Republicans in order to make the decisions that should be taken at that time. “It won’t be before. I see around me that some already have the spirit of defeat but I would not be at this microphone if I had had the spirit of defeat“, she added before talking about her daughter, as she very rarely does.

Indeed, Rachida Dati is the happy mother of a 15-year-old teenager, Zohra. She explained that she had this kind of discussion with her daughter who seems to be worried about the future of the country. “She asks me what we should do and what I am going to say. She gets very anxious when I appear in the media. She’s always afraid of what I’m going to say. So there, I tell him we’ll see Sunday evening“, added the minister.

Rachida Dati does not hesitate to discuss her personal situation to denounce the New Popular Front

During the interview, she also mentioned the New Popular Front, a party whose lack of ethics and recent positions she denounces while discussing her personal journey. “Look at the Popular Front, there are some who call to vote for the Popular Front. You know very well that this is not my life and my journey, I have been stigmatized right down to my daughter’s first name“, she said.

It was in 2009 that Rachida Dati gave birth to her daughter when she already held a ministerial position.
