Fuel prices continue to rise

Fuels: Fuel prices continued to rise last week. For its part, the average closing price of Brent oil reached $85.81, exceeding its annual average of $83.50.

B7 The average price of a liter of gazole (diesel), best-selling fuel with almost 80% of volumeswas established at 1,7249 € TTC, up by 1.16 cents compared to last week (its price excluding tax was 0,8285 euro or 0.97 cents more tax per week).
Its annual average for the year 2023 was 1,7948 € and €1.8484 in 2022.

E5 Regarding the price of a liter of unleaded 95 petrol (SP95), it increased by 0.64 cents by settling in 1,8537 (0,8534 euro HT or +0.53 cents tax).
His average in 2023 was 1,8832 € and €1.8093 in 2022.

E10 On the price side of unleaded 95 containing up to 10% ethanol (SP95-E10), its overall billing climbed by 0.68 cents to attach to 1,8149 VAT included per liter (0,8409 euro HT or +0.56 cents in taxes compared to last week).
Its annual average in 2023 was 1,8576 € and €1.7653 in 2022.

E5 Unleaded 98 (SP98) also increased to settle at 1,9197 the liter, or +0.67 cents on its general pricing (0,9084 euro Excluding tax, i.e. +0.55 cents tax).
His average in 2023 was 1,9389 € and €1.8634 in 2022.

LPG The GPL as for him, it decreased by 0.13 cents to settle in 0,9861 (0,7064 euro HT or -0.11 cents of taxes).
His average in 2023 was 0,9802 € and 0.8444 in 2022.

E85 Finally, the superethanol (gasoline containing more than 60% bioethanol mixed with SP95) dropped to 0,8342 the liter is -0.22 cents on the week (0,5768 euro Excluding taxes, i.e. -0.19 cents of taxes per week).
His average in 2023 was 1,0553 € and €0.7978 in 2022.

The Ministry of Ecological Transition publishes the average price of fuel every Monday, covering the period from Friday to Friday of the previous week.

Oil prices were trading positively on Monday, driven by escalating tensions in the Middle East and prospects of more robust Chinese demand, but also by the rise of the euro against the dollar after the first round of legislative elections in France.
