The interpreter of Winner Mistral married his partner on Saturday May 4 in Paris. If he was able to count on many guests, his daughter Lolita would have been missing. She also shared a message on Instagram which surprised the singer’s fans.
The missive took subscribers by surprise on Saturday May 4. While her father Renaud was married during the day at the town hall of the 14th arrondissement of Paris with his partner Christine, nicknamed Cerise, his daughter made unexpected comments on Instagram. The one who does not appear in any photo, was first conspicuous by her absence at the ceremony, which was attended by many relatives of the singer. Winner Mistral such as his friend Hugues Aufrey, the singers Bénabar, Vianney and Dave, the actors Jean-Paul Rouve and Philippe Lellouche, or even Laurent Baffie. Lolita Séchan, from Renaud’s first marriage to Dominique Quilichini, then shared this strange message in her story: “You can refrain from comments on my father’s marriage here.”

Faced with the amazement of some, she elaborated in another story a few hours later: “I don’t defend anything. I didn’t react to negative or positive comments about the wedding. That does not concern me. I just said “leave me alone”, in life and here on my personal page which mainly talks about my work, and talk to him if you have anything to say to him. And to conclude with irony: “We are two individualized people, if one marries the other may have nothing to do with it…”. Finally, in a third story, she seems to remove doubt about her participation – or not – in the event: “And in this case, not to participate”.

On her Instagram account, Lolita Séchan, 43, who has a half-brother, Malone (17), the fruit of her father’s second marriage to Romane Serda, actually shares photos of her work. But the latter, who is an illustrator, nevertheless often posts images and other references to Renaud. The most recent is from November 2023: he and she pose together with his new book, titled The Mists of Sapa. So why would she have missed her father’s union? Does she have a bad relationship with her new wife? Questions left unanswered for the moment by the main interested party.
