Sophie Durocher was a notable candidate in the 2nd season of the show Get me out of here! on TVA airwaves in recent months. On Facebook, she has unfortunately just denounced having been “attacked in a grotesque way” by Rosalie Bonenfant and she decided to expose the latter’s message.
Many of you appreciated Sophie Durocher’s journey in the 2nd season of Get me out of here! and we were able to discover another very interesting side of the journalist during her adventure in the jungle.
She touched viewers by showing a lot of courage and determination from start to finish.
Outside of the sets of the television show, Sophie has never held her tongue in her pocket and she is not afraid to speak out publicly on many subjects.
Of course, we can sometimes disagree with our opinion on certain subjects and it is simply normal to not always agree. Difference of opinion is important and it is very interesting when done respectfully.
On her Facebook account, Sophie Durocher now denounces having been “grotesquely attacked” by Rosalie Bonenfant. Here is the summary of this story:
First of all, Sophie wrote this on Facebook:
« Message to neo-feminists who denounce the boy club and rape culture in #Mazan: where were you on October 7, 2023 to denounce the vi*ls of Israeli women? Your selective outrage stinks to my face. I devote a chapter to denouncing you, in my next book. »
On Instagram, Rosalie Bonenfant shared a screenshot of Sophie Durocher’s publication, writing:
« I salute the courage of Sophie, who proudly accepts her diagnosis of early-onset dementia in her last speech. I wish her to be well supported for this new cognitive challenge. »
Three days ago, Sophie decided to publish Rosalie’s message, without revealing her identity and she wrote:
« Are we playing the game of “Look at the insults I receive, Le Devoir will perhaps write a column about it”?
We start with what a well-known host* wrote about me just a few days ago.
*but since she’s part of the “good gang” no one is going to report her. »
But now the journalist has just made a second publication and she has decided to reveal that the message in question comes from Rosalie Bonenfant. She adds this:
« With Benoit, I talked about the “sorority” movement with Lea Clermont-Dion: is @Val_Plante going too far?
Also, Rosalie Bonenfant, who says that it is very naughty to attack women… but who attacks me in a grotesque way.
