Jean-François Ruela.k.a Yes* or Yes McCann, also known for his role in Runawayclaims to have also been caught by the most famous alleged scammer in Quebec at the moment, namely “the fake real lawyer pref du Québec” which is rampant on TikTok and Instagram and which has been in the headlines for several days.
For some time now, the young woman who calls herself “Megan Lalonde” has been making her victims believe that she is a successful young lawyer, which has attracted the attention not only of the media, but also of the Quebec Bar.
However, the reality would be much darker than that, since it would be, according to Le Journal de Montréal, a mother from Drummondville with a heavy past in terms of fraud.
It was in the process that Jean-François Ruel found himself in a TikTok live in order to share his interactions with “the fake real lawyer pref of Quebec”, accused by several Internet users of lying about her identity.
Then, in a long video also published on TikTok, Yes McCann declares having been in contact with the young woman for a long period of time… and explains that he too was fooled.
“I was unknowingly scammed for more than a year by the fake TikTok lawyer,” he says, before launching into a story that is astonishing to say the least.
