Inetum signed a memorandum of understanding with Morocco, with a view to expanding its activities and tripling its current workforce in the country, generating 1,500 jobs by 2027. Planning an investment of more than 50 million dirhams, the agreement was announced on Monday by Jacques Pommeraud, CEO of the group, Mohcine Jazouli, Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, convergence and evaluation of public policies and Ghita Mezzour, Minister Delegate in charge of the Digital Transition and administrative reform.

For the European leader in digital services in Morocco, it will notably be a question of “supporting Morocco’s digital transition by investing in advanced technologies, developing innovative services and creating qualified jobs with very high added value,” indicates a communicated.

The investment for this purpose will make it possible to “develop the nearshore by improving the service provided to customers with a better investment/efficiency ratio, as well as to accelerate the integration of Generative AI among all types of customers,” adds the same Source.

Another objective will be to “support the local growth of IT needs, consistent with the economic development” of Morocco.

Recruitments target “engineers and graduates from major management schools in the Casablanca region and other regions”.
