The Sûreté du Québec is asking for the public’s help to find two 15-year-old girls, Jeanne Généreux and Karol-Ann Payant, both from Joliette.
The two were last seen on April 24, 2024 in the morning in the area of La Rive secondary school in Lavaltrie.
The two young girls are believed to be traveling on foot and their loved ones have reason to fear for their health and safety.
Jeanne Généreux is 5 feet tall, weighs 100 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. She also has a lower lip piercing. She was last seen wearing jeans with a hole in the front, a black hoodie, black shoes and a green backpack.
For her part, Karol-Ann Payant is 5 feet and 5 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. She has several tattoos, including a flower on her neck and one on her right arm as well as letters on her fingers and both hands.
She was last seen wearing beige pants and a beige hoodie and may also be wearing a pink hoodie and light Vans shoes.
Anyone who sees the two teenagers is asked to contact 911. In addition, any information that could lead to their finding can be communicated, confidentially, to the Criminal Information Center of the Sûreté du Québec at 1 800 659-4264 .
