Services to Israel and Lebanon by Air France remain suspended “due to the security situation at destination”, the airline announced on Monday.

(Keystone-ATS) “Air France extends the suspension of its routes between Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle and Tel-Aviv (Israel) until January 17, 2025 inclusive. Connections between Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle and Beirut (Lebanon) are suspended until January 31, 2025 inclusive,” the carrier told AFP.
From the same source, “the resumption of operations will remain subject to an assessment of the situation on site” and “the customers concerned will be informed individually and postponement or reimbursement solutions will be offered to them”.
Air France stopped operating its flights to Beirut after the simultaneous explosion across Lebanon of pagers used by the Hezbollah movement on September 17. The company also stopped serving Tel Aviv from Paris on September 30.
The low-cost subsidiary of Air France-KLM, Transavia, announced in early December that it had suspended its flights to Tel Aviv and Beirut at least until January 6 inclusive. Asked Monday for a possible update, she was not able to respond immediately.
