The richest person in the world, Elon Musk, donated 112 million euros of Tesla shares to charity in the last days of 2024, stock market documents show.
The documents do not, however, specify which associations these are. Elon Musk has not communicated on this subject. These donations are part of planning for the end of the fiscal year.
The billionaire has already given away large packages of shares in the past. At the end of 2021, these were donations worth $5.7 billion. The beneficiary ultimately turned out to be the Musk Foundation, his own charitable foundation.
With a fortune estimated at $432 billion, Elon Musk is currently the richest man on the planet. He is best known as the owner of electric car maker Tesla, but owns a string of other technology companies.
