Ambitious projects for Casablanca: Focus on Hay Hassani

The Council of the Casablanca-Settat region is preparing a series of major projects to boost Casablanca, with a particular focus on the district prefecture of Hay Hassani during its ordinary session in July 2024.

These ambitious initiatives are intended to transform the region and stimulate various economic and social sectors.

As part of this session, chaired by Abdellatif Mazouz, several strategic projects were approved, including:

The rehabilitation of the Al Amal complex to improve its facilities, representing an investment of 120 million dirhams.
The restoration and modernization of the Sidi Belyout commercial and artisanal complex, as well as the Al Saâda market, for a total amount of 18 million dirhams.

The introduction of advanced training in artificial intelligence at Ibn Hicham high school, thus supporting the creation of new educational opportunities.

The extension of technical educational programs in mechanics and electricity at Omar Al Khayyam High School.
Significant investments in transport infrastructure, including the opening of road HH 26, for a budget of 120 million dirhams.

The development of Al Aouafaa Lake in Hay Hassani to enrich the local environment, with an envelope of 60 million dirhams.
The improvement of provincial and national roads in the region, with total investments of 70 million dirhams.

Improving facilities and educational programs in artificial intelligence at the Candide qualifying high school, aimed at strengthening the technological skills of students, at a cost of approximately 2 million dirhams.

The construction of a new car park in the Hay Hassani district to improve urban mobility, with an investment of 56 million dirhams.

These projects are part of the 2022-2027 regional development program, aimed at catalyzing the economic, social and environmental development of Casablanca and its surroundings.
