2024 legislative elections in Loire-Atlantique: Andy Kerbrat re-elected in the first round in the second constituency

More than knowing if he was going to be re-elected, the question resided above all around his score and a possible re-election from this Sunday. Elected deputy for the second constituency of Loire-Atlantique in 2022, the rebel Andy Kerbrat will not have to go through a second round to keep his sash. The candidate of the New Popular Front received 52.70% of the votes, this evening of June 30, on the occasion of the first round of the early legislative elections. Member of Parliament between 2017 and 2022, Macronist Valérie Oppelt comes in second position with 25.68% of the votes cast.

A strong advocate of retirement at 60

Propelled to the Palais Bourbon at just 31 years old, making him the youngest deputy for the second constituency since Élisabeth Hubert in 1986, Andy Kerbrat made a return to retirement at 60, the revaluation of the minimum wage and of the fight against precariousness and discrimination, its mainstays. This native of Toulouse has also participated in numerous demonstrations against pension reform.

Responsible for automobile assistance and unionized with the CGT, Andy Kerbrat got involved in politics in 2020 by joining the Nantes en commun.es list, supported by Margot Medkour during the Municipal elections. He then supported Matthew Orphelin during the regional elections in 2021.
