Gabriel Attal : The Prime Minister came out on top in the 5th constituency of Yvelines, with 43.93% of the vote. He is in a favourable position for the second round, having led by almost eight points the candidate of the New Popular Front Cécile Soubelet (35.64%).

Gérald Darmanin: The Minister of the Interior, according to partial results, would come out on top in the 10th constituency of the North, with more than 44% of the votes, ahead of the RN candidate Bastien Verbrugghe (35.29%). The candidate of the New Popular Front, Leslie Mortreux, finished 3rd, with 14.96% of the votes.

Élisabeth Borne: Former Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne arrived in 2e position of the 6th constituency of Calvados, according to partial results, with 28.40% of the votes, behind the RN candidate Nicolas Calbrix (35.97%). New Popular Front candidate Noé Gauchard finishes 3ewith 24.18% of the vote. Olivier Faure announced in the evening the withdrawal of the NFP candidate to block the RN.

Marc Fesneau: In the 1st constituency of Loir-et-Cher, the Minister of Agriculture Marc Fesneau (Modem-Ensemble presidential majority) qualified for the second round with 34.56% of the votes (18,711 votes) where he will meet Marine Bardet (National Rally), came in first this Sunday with 35.22%.

Yaël Braun-Pivet: The President of the National Assembly is in a favorable position for the second round in the 5th constituency of Yvelines. She came in first in the first round with 42.80% of the votes, ahead of Yassine Benyettou, for the NFP (27.32%). The candidate of the Ciotti-RN alliance, Jacques Myard, came 3rd with 22.90% of the votes.

At the RN, elections from the first round

Marine Le Pen : The former president of the National Rally Marine Le Pen announced shortly after 8 p.m. that she had been re-elected in the first round of the early legislative elections in the 11th constituency of Pas-de-Calais. She would collect nearly 58% of the votes in the first round, far ahead of Samira Laal, NFP candidate (25.95%).

Sébastien Chenu: the outgoing deputy from the 19th constituency of the North obtains 58.35% of the votes in this first round and is therefore elected in the first round.

Eric Ciotti: According to still partial results, Éric Ciotti is leading in the 1st constituency of Alpes-Maritimes with 41% of the vote, announces Nice-Matin. He is ahead of the candidate of the New Popular Front Olivier Salerno (27%) and the Horizons candidate Graig Monetti (23%).

On the left, contrasting situations

François Ruffin : LFI candidate François Ruffin announced that he came in 2nd position in the 1st constituency of the Somme, with 36% of the votes this Sunday. He is ahead of RN candidate Nathalie Ribeiro Billet. In the evening, Ensemble candidate Albane Branlant announced that she would withdraw from the second round to block the far right.

Fabien Roussel: PCF leader Fabien Roussel announced this Sunday that he had been beaten in the first round in the 20th constituency of the North, where RN candidate Guillaume Florquin was elected in the first round, with 50.3% of the vote.

Francois Hollande : According to the final results of the 1st constituency of Corrèze, François Hollande came out on top, with 37% of the vote, ahead of the RN candidate Maïtey Pouget (30%) and the LR candidate Francis Dubois (28%).

Jérôme Cahuzac: “It’s over.” Jérôme Cahuzac acknowledged his defeat in Lot-et-Garonne this Sunday, arriving in 3rd position behind the RN and the alliance of the right and the presidential majority.

Olivier Faure: The first secretary of the PS Olivier Faure was elected in the first round in the 11th constituency of Seine-et-Marne, with more than 53% of the votes, ahead of Vincent Paul-Petit, a candidate from the Republicans supported by the alliance formed between Éric Ciotti and the RN (29.78%).

Philippe Poutou: The former Girondin candidate for the presidential election is running in Aude and came in 2nd place (18.7%), far behind the RN candidate Christophe Barthès (49.33%). The Ensemble candidate Jean-Claude Perez finished 3rd, with 16.86% and did not qualify for the second round.

Boris Vallaud: The president of the socialist group in the Assembly, Boris Vallaud, came out on top in the 3rd constituency of Landes (37%), of which he is the incumbent, by a narrow margin ahead of the RN candidate Sylvie Franceschini (35.59%). Far behind, the MoDem candidate for the presidential majority, Tom Gillet Duffrechou, only received 16% of the votes and was eliminated in the first round.

Alexis Corbière: The outgoing deputy Alexis Corbière would come in 2nd position in the 7th constituency of Seine-Saint-Denis, according to provisional results announced by Le Parisien, with 36.25% of the votes, behind the candidate officially nominated by LFI for the New Popular Front, Sabrina Ali-Benali, who obtained 39.47% of the votes.

Manuel Bompard: The national coordinator of La France Insoumise (LFI) and outgoing MP Manuel Bompard was re-elected in the first round in the 4th constituency of Bouches-du-Rhône, the movement announced on X. In 2022, Manuel Bompard was elected in the second round with 73.92% of the vote against the candidate of the presidential majority.

Right-wing leaders save the day

Laurent Wauquiez: The LR president of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region came first in his stronghold of the 1st constituency of Haute-Loire in the first round, with 36.78% of the vote, narrowly ahead of the RN candidate (34.2% ). The NFP candidate finished 3rd, almost 18%.

Aurélien Pradié: The outgoing MP is in the lead in the 1st constituency of Lot, with 42% of the vote, far ahead of NFP candidate Elsa Bougeard (24.33%) and RN Slavka Mihaylova (23.06%).
