(Alliance News) – Intercede Group PLC said on Wednesday it has entered into a partnership with Carahsoft Technology Corp to provide digital identity cybersecurity solutions to the US public sector.

According to the Leicestershire, England-based cybersecurity software company, Carahsoft will serve as the primary aggregator for the government.

More specifically, this means that it will help make Intercede’s products available to the public sector through reseller partners and various contracts, including with Omnia Partners.

Under the agreement, Intercede will provide its MyID multi-factor authentication and MyID password security management solutions to the public sector.

“We are particularly pleased to partner with Carahsoft to enable Intercede to continue its strategic plan to expand its product portfolio in key U.S. markets. With Carahsoft’s depth and reach in the federal market , local government and the education market, we look forward to developing and strengthening our new relationship,” said Klaas van der Leest, Managing Director of Intercede Group.

Intercede Group shares were up 12% at 139.90 pence each in London on Wednesday morning.
