It is a place of proximity that can continue to live. The only store in St-Brais has a new boss. Since Monday, Ludovic Flament has been managing the café-grocery store-bakery-post office located in the center of the Franc-Montagnard commune, near the church. This Frenchman who has been living in Bellelay for more than ten years succeeded Nathanaël Grunenwald who managed the establishment for the last two years. The store was called “Chez Nata” and was renamed “L’Antre deux POSTE”. His new boss is 39 years old and draws on eleven years of experience in catering in Saignelégier then in La Theurre. “I found a very welcoming place to live here,” explains the man from Hénin-Beaumont in the north of France. Ludovic Flament also emphasizes that the first contacts with Taignon customers were very warm.
To manage a business that serves as a café, grocery store, bakery and postal office, you need to be a real Swiss army knife. If his past as a sommelier gives Ludovic Flament an advantage in certain sectors of his store, the boss must learn new functions. “The first problem I had was stock management to try to have everything people wanted,” he notes. Regarding tasks related to the Post Office, the merchant will benefit this week from training provided on site by a French-speaking postal employee. In the future, Ludovic Flament even plans to add an activity to his multifunctional establishment. He wants to offer a sector dedicated to the lottery. /nmy
