MANAGEMENT CHANGES: VSA Capital hires Oberon CFO

(Alliance News) – The following is a summary of changes to directors and managers of London-listed companies announced over the past week and which have not been separately reported by Alliance News:

Oberon Investments Group PLC – London-based investment management, wealth planning and business brokerage firm – Hires Marcia Manarin as CFO, a board position. Ms. Manarin has “20 years of leadership experience in finance,” including at VSA Capital Group PLC, Stifel and Macquarie. She will take office on Tuesday and replace Galin Ganchev, who will leave the board of directors on October 11. Galin Ganchev joined Oberon in May last year. He left for VSA Capital, an investment bank and brokerage firm based in London. Mr. Ganchev will be the company’s new CFO from October 14.

Cirata PLC – Jersey-based data transfer and integration company – Ijoma Maluza resigns as CFO “to take up the role of CFO within a private company”. Maluza, who joined the company in April 2023, will leave Cirata at the end of December. Cirata hires Ricardo Moura as interim financial director, who will begin his role on Monday. Mr. Moura has “more than 15 years of experience in financial management,” according to Cirata.

Autins Group PLC – Manufacturer of sound and thermal insulation solutions based in Rugby, Warwickshire – Qu Li joins the board immediately as a non-executive director and representative of investor Braveheart Investment Group PLC (27%). Li is founder and chief executive of Morris Commercial Ltd, a British company seeking to produce battery-electric vans.

Castings PLC – a Brownhills, West Midlands company specializing in casting and machining cast iron for the heavy goods vehicle market – hires Stephen Harrison as an independent non-executive director, effective last Thursday. Mr. Harrison is Chairman of Epwin Group PLC and was CEO of Forterra PLC, both construction products companies.

Predator Oil & Gas Holdings PLC – Jersey based company with operations in Morocco and Trinidad – Stephen Boldy appointed as Non-Executive Chairman, effective immediately. Mr. Boldy is CEO of Lansdowne Oil & Gas PLC. At Predator, Mr Boldy replaces Paul Griffiths, who earlier this month moved from executive chairman to chief executive. The move follows the departure of Lonny Baumgardner as general manager.

Christie Group PLC – London-based provider of professional services to clients in the hospitality, leisure, healthcare, medical, childcare, education and retail sectors – appoints Simon Herrick permanent non-executive chairman, effective immediately. Herrick had served as interim president since the immediate departure of David Rugg as president and CEO in July 2023.

Agronomics Ltd – cellular agriculture investor – Shellbay Investments Ltd, the advisor to Agronomics, appoints Philip Boigner as interim CEO, effective immediately. Boigner replaces Anthony Chow, who leaves immediately. The move follows a “strategic review” by James Mellon, president of Agronomics and sole owner of Shellbay. Mr. Boigner is a director of New Agrarian Co Ltd, an active investor in cellular agriculture and fermentation technologies, according to Agronomics.

Corre Energy BV – developer of underground energy storage projects in Europe – is calling an extraordinary general meeting for October 7 to approve the appointment of a new board of directors. George Fraser will be independent director and chairman, while representatives of the major shareholders will be Brendan Boyd of Stream Street Ltd, Stephen Carolan of Pageant Investments Ltd, and Gemma Monaghan of Air Corre Ltd. Corre Energy says it will appoint further non-executive directors in the coming weeks and is considering adding another executive director in Keith McGrane. Corre Energy will publish its half-year results on Monday.

Eneraqua Technologies PLC – London-based energy efficiency and water management solutions – Hires John Samuel as CFO, joining on November 4. Samuel was most recently Chief Financial Officer of Hargreaves Services PLC.
