The addition of this new flight allow the company to regain its pre-pandemic capacity in order to meet growing demand.

The 4e daily service will begin on March 1, 2025 and will be operated by a Boeing 777-300ER proposing three classes of travel, providing 708 additional seats when departing and arriving at the airport largest and busiest international airport in South Africa, increasing the options for business and tourist-motivated travelers.

Flight EK767 will depart from Dubai at 00:10 and land at Johannesburg at 6:20 a.m.; the return flight, EK768, will depart Johannesburg at 10:15 a.m. and land in Dubai at 8:15 p.m., thus expanding the range of the company’s flight schedules by introducing a departure Johannesburg morning.

Customers who benefit from Emirates’ extended flight offer to Johannesburg can join 60 additional regional destinations in Africa through code sharing agreements and interline with four key partners.

Beyond the passengers, this new flight also increases cargo capacity on departure and destination of South Africaoffering 300 tonnes of additional transport per week via the soute du Boeing 777.
