Zurich (awp) – Banking software publisher Temenos announces that the vice-chairman of the board of directors, Ian Cookson, will not stand for re-election after 12 years in office. Debbie Forster will also not seek a new mandate at the general meeting on May 7 at the Fairmont Grand Hotel in Geneva.

To replace them, the Geneva group is proposing the election of Laurie Readhead and Michael Gorriz as independent and non-executive members of the board of directors, according to the invitation published Tuesday.

“Ms. Readhead has 30 years of seniority with Bank of America, giving her extensive experience in the banking industry, particularly in the areas of compliance, information systems and data management,” noted the president. Thibault de Tersant, cited in the document.

For his part, Mr. Gorriz “brings over 20 years of leadership expertise from Daimler and Standard Chartered Bank in the information technology space.”

Furthermore, Temenos hopes to be able to present its new chief executive officer (CEO) to shareholders on May 7. Thibault de Tersant thanks in the document “Andreas Andreades for having extended his mandate as CEO to enable this transition and especially for the enormous contribution he has made during his 25 years within Temenos”.

Security holders will also vote on the dividend proposal of 1.20 francs per share and for the first time on the sustainability report.
