Crescendo N’The Kasbah Groove Machine unveils its first album “Mizane” – Today Morocco

Crescendo N’The Kasbah Groove Machine (CnKGM), the Moroccan group that reinvents children’s music, releases its very first album entitled “Mizane”.

Each piece has been carefully imagined or reimagined to create a musical experience that takes you on a journey through iconic melodies, revisited with touches of rock, pop and modern rhythms. “Mizane” is an album that also reinvents and invents itself around original creations, inspired by the rich Moroccan musical heritage with Western and African influences. Sung in Darija and Amazigh with narration in English, “Mizane” crosses generations and borders to connect cultures and hearts through music. Since 2016, Crescendo N’The Kasbah Groove Machine has been traveling across Morocco with its interactive concerts, already totaling more than 25 shows.

The group is leading an adventure of almost 10 years around an educational and cultural project. The release of his first album is the result of all these years of creation around his concept of workshops for children and families in Morocco. Little by little, from timpani to drum, from workshops to concerts, the group invested in this project to offer a complete album and a show for young audiences, the result of their experience. The public will find Laila Lebbar, the magical voice and founder of the group, Salim Daima, the inspired guitarist and producer, Martin Seigneur, the drummer with boundless energy, and Ismael Mehdi Zaamoun, master of bass and oud.
