Education: the history book for the 5th year of primary school full of errors

Khansa al-Hanachi, curator specializing in history at the National Heritage Institute, confirmed the existence of errors in the history book intended for fifth-year primary school students, calling on the Ministry of Education to correct them. On a private radio station, the official said that the history book intended for fifth-year primary school students presents incorrect information. Capsian man, who lived from the Upper Paleolithic to the Neolithic, is described in the book as living in burial chambers. In fact, they buried their dead under their habitat. Furthermore, contrary to what is indicated in the history book of the fifth year of primary school, they lived well before the Punic period.

She added that the history book also mentions that man from the Capsian civilization domesticated animals which is completely false. Capsian man was a hunter and fed mainly on the meat of the animals he hunted.
