While the “Patriots” have not yet finished debating the appointment of Aoua Bocar Ly, a new event recently captivated their attention on social networks: the appointment of Raky Kane to the Ministry of Communication, Telecommunications and Digital.

Raky Kane was appointed executive secretary of the Evaluation, Support and Coordination Commission (ECAC) by a decree from former President Macky Sall, dated July 25, 2023. In addition, she was recently elected Deputy General Secretary of the African Startup Conference (ASC) during the ministerial summit of this organization.

Following her election, she expressed her gratitude to the authorities in place for their support. “I thank our authorities: the President of the Republic, His Excellency Bassirou Diomaye Faye, the Prime Minister, Ousmane SONKO and the Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy, Alioune SALL for the trust and permanent institutional support which demonstrates their commitment to the development and promotion of startups”, she wrote on her Facebook page.
