A new publisher for François Gastal’s first children’s book

Originally from (Drôme), François Gastal has lived in Binas for several years. Aged 35, he has just published his first novel for young people with a new publisher, The Son of the Jaguar (Editions Chiré).

First published in 2017 and aimed at teenagers, the book offers an immersive adventure in the heart of the wilderness, combining explorations, emotions, friendships and epic confrontations.

Son of a history-geography professor, passionate about the Gallic language, François Gastal began writing fictional stories at the age of 10. After studying at the Châteauneuf-de-Galaure high school (Drôme), François Gastal continued his studies in communications and marketing in (Côte-d'Or). There, he met his future wife, also passionate about writing, with whom he had two children.

Since 2016, François Gastal has been in charge of marketing at the company Uxen, in Orléans. A great idealist, he infused his writings with a chivalrous and adventurous spirit, combining it with a deep complicity with nature.
