The artists from the 12 Couleurs workshop put their whole heart into the exhibition installed at the tourist office and it shows.

Magali Fabre is a truly dynamic leader when it comes to leading her students from the 12 Couleurs workshop in artistic projects that bring together young and old alike, and many of them take the classes. Accustomed to exhibitions, particularly in partnership with the OT, they did it again until March as the plastic arts teacher explained: “It’s our winter exhibition. We’re done three to four per year and that gives us time to prepare for the next one.

On this one, the artists are aged between 6 and 73 years old, which shows the diversity of different talents who built this exhibition based on Duplo construction games: “It’s about seeing how to organize the colors in the space. The idea is always to work on primary colors, secondary ones and how to make pigments. We created a fresco with the Pic du Midi in perspective, which looks like a Christmas tree from a distance. so we are in the theme, we did it on purpose It’s an exercise that fits into perspective and allows you to bring lots of color to the end of the year and the beginning of the new one. All this really represents an exercise in classic visual arts. “.

“The students come with their loved ones, their parents”

A great success already for its first weeks of exhibition, this is what Ludovic, responsible for reception at the tourist office, observed: “This children’s area is very popular. We see the students, those who have participated, come with their loved ones, their parents, to show them their work but also visitors who come just to visit this exhibition. In the off-season, it is really a busy space, especially during school holidays.

Around forty students from the 12 Couleurs workshop took part in this great adventure that Magali repeats quite often with her different groups. A colorful stroll that visitors can take until the end of March in this space where young ones can also take the time to draw or play with the famous Duplos.

For information, the Atelier provides numerous courses but also internships, advanced training, for children but also adults with teaching of all plastic arts techniques, classic academic courses in a fun way.

Also offered are the realization of learning linked to the know-how of each person but also collective projects linked to the history of art. The Atelier des 12 Couleurs also prepares students for art schools and the sessions are carried out with fine arts equipment. A space which is also the result of a partnership with the Maintenon Cultural Center and the Town Hall of Bagnères-de-Bigorre. Lovers of the arts in all its forms therefore still have a few months to go for a walk and discover the exhibition of the students of the 12 Couleurs workshop at the tourist office.
