Pottermore Publishing had a very good year in terms of sales. Revenue increased to £48.8 million (£48.2 million in 2023).
Pre-tax profits jumped 21% to £11.4m.
This success is due to strong commercial partnerships and regular sales of the Harry Potter books, both digital and audio, after a peak during the pandemic.
Despite a quieter year in terms of content releases, cost of sales decreased, thereby increasing profitability.
In 2025, Pottermore continues to expand its catalog, with new audiobooks in multiple languages and ebooks available in Bulgarian and Spanish for Latin America.
A partnership with Audible will make it possible to produce new editions in audiobook format. Audiobooks of books 1 to 7 will be released in Greek for the first time.
According to Jennie McCann, Managing Director of Pottermore, the year exceeded expectations, thanks to reliable partnerships and new contracts.
The company plans to continue this momentum with innovative marketing and expansion into new markets and languages.
