The Partir en Livre Festival at Parc de Font Obscure on July 3, 9, 10 and 11 – From 07/03/2024 to 07/11/2024 – Marseille

Since its creation in 2015, the Partir en Livre festival has established itself as the flagship initiative to promote reading among young people across the country. This unique festival aims to make reading accessible by taking books off their shelves and bringing them directly to young people’s leisure places, in order to pass on to them the pleasure of reading in a fun way.

Free and open to all, Partir en Livre offers a multitude of varied activities, including meetings with authors, literary events, immersive readings, illustration and writing workshops, drawing concerts, and much more. Moreover.

To celebrate its tenth anniversary, the festival is taking over parks, libraries and various other places in Marseille this year. Throughout the city, young people are invited to explore the art of reading through activities, shows, readings and meetings with authors.

The festival takes over Marseille parks

The program for this edition promises to be particularly rich: creative workshops, origami and drawing with youth illustrators, as well as numerous reading sessions. In addition, this year, a large number of activities are organized in several parks in the City of Marseille, offering a perfect opportunity to enjoy the sun with a good book or by participating in fun activities. The activities are designed for all ages, from the youngest to the oldest.

On July 3, 9, 10 and 11, Partir en Livre is set up in the Font Obscure park, discover the program for the four days in the park.
