Bubble launches its future talent competition

Notice to young artists looking for a springboard, Bubble éditions announces its first creation competition. The comic book publishing house presents its Future Talents competition in partnership with Babelio, Society and Ulule. This is open to all authors who have not yet published professionally. All styles and genres are accepted with a preference for SF, fantasy, one-shot life stories or very short series.

A jury of comics professionals will deliberate to choose a winner from five finalists. The call for applications opened on June 26 and will close on September 30, 2024. The winner will be published by Bubble in 2025 and will benefit from a grant of 2,000 euros in addition to a creation contract. The announcement of the winner will take place during the week of the Angoulême 2025 comic book festival.

A house of young authors

Bubble, supported by the community of members of the Bubble sales platform, specializes in the launch of emerging artists while establishing a fair distribution of value: fairer remuneration in a short circuit from the author to the reader. In 2023, he is a young author published by the publishing house, Yoann Kavegewhich for example won the first edition of the SF comics prize.
