Serieously drew up their portrait using artificial intelligence.

In 16th century England, King Edward is dying. In order to ensure his succession, he arranges the marriage of his cousin Lady Jane Gray to Gifford Dudley. Now, not only does this union greatly displease the main interested party, but in addition to that, she is unaware that her future husband is an E∂ian which transforms into a horse every day at the first rays of the sun… While the situation in the country becomes more and more unstable, between a internecine war within the royal family and one rebellion movement launched by the E∂iansthe characters will have to fight for their ideals, but also and above all for their survival.

Adapted by Gemma Burgess et Meredith Glynn pour Prime Video in romantic and fantasy series, My Lady Jane thus traces the history of the Tudors with humor, mischief and irreverence, also adding a hint of magic to the darkest intrigues of England’s past. We therefore find there colorful characterscombining the ambitious with the revolutionaries, the idealists with the feminists, without forgetting the lovers.

However, between the novel and the Prime Video program, many changes had to be made, starting with theappearance of certain characters. That is why Serieously created the portrait of the heroes of the work of Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton and Jodi Meadows using artificial intelligence Midjourney. Jane

Played by the American actress Emily Bader On screen, Lady Jane Grey is relatively different from the novel that inspired the series. For good reason, she is described as a person of rather small height and bone structure, who is sometimes mistaken for a child, and who is mainly noted for her long red hair. A vibrant color because of which it never goes unnoticed and for which it is often criticized. However, Gifford Dudley sees nothing other than a singular beauty, which matches perfectly with her brown eyes and fair skin. A physique which therefore stands out somewhat in the noble landscape of the time, but which is nothing other than charming.

Also, while Lady Jane is passionate about medicine in the series, this is not really the case in the book. The young woman likes to read, a lot even, but on all subjects. She is not attracted to one area more than another, as her curiosity is insatiable. He is therefore a very cultured and formidably intelligent character, whom men unfortunately tend to underestimate…

Gifford

Young husband of Lady Jane, Gifford Dudley is a central character in the series, as arrogant as he is mysterious. Camped by the actor Edward Bluemel (Sex Education), the young man is ultimately quite similar in the books, where he is described as a handsome man with silky brown hair and brown eyes, who suffers from a reputation as a debauchee and womanizer. Her beauty also contrasts greatly with the unsightly physique of the other members of her family, known for having a very large, aquiline and arched nose.

Before seeing him for the first time, Lady Jane is very worried about having to marry such a nose, which she does not hesitate to compare to the masks that doctors wore during plague epidemics. To her greatest relief, she finally unites with a nose that she finds quite attractive, without suspecting that at dawn, it will disappear to make way for two large equine nostrils.

Edward

Just like in the series My Lady JaneKing Edward finds himself, in the novel, on the verge of death, terribly weakened by a strange affliction. Depicted as a handsome young man before illness took hold of him, he inherited the strawberry blonde hair of his father, Henry VIII, as well as his grey eyes. On the other hand, these months of suffering made him lose a lot of weight, made him paler and robbed him of some of his presence. It is therefore a sick, thin and diminished king which we discover from the first pages of the novel.

This then contrasts slightly with the Prime Video program, in which actor Jordan Peters, who plays the British sovereign, did not undergo a physical transformation for the role and therefore does not look as bad. .

Bess

King Edward’s older sister, Elizabeth, known as Bess (Abbie Hern), has a slightly more assertive character in the novel. My Lady Janewhere she is known for her grande intelligence and its solids knowledge of botany. From a physical point of view, Edward finds her to have similarities with their father, particularly in terms of her gaze, because she also has the same grey eyes. However, what really sets it apart from the rest are the freckles which dot his nose and cheekbones. A special sign, which makes it easy to recognize within the castle.

Mary

Whether in the book or the series My Lady Jane, Edward and Mary (Kate O’Flynn) are as close to each other as the Arctic and the Antarctic. For good reason, the first is rather gentle and good-natured, while the second is cold, rigid and severe. The king even nicknamed her “ the killjoy ”, as she never smiles and always seems dark and withdrawn. Calculating and ambitious, the latter cares much more about power than her own family, which she therefore does not hesitate to overtake in the worst possible way and trample on to get what she wants.

Archer

Irreverent noble rebel and highly respected in the world of My Lady Jane, Archer (Michael Workeye) is quite similar on paper as he is on screen. Equipped with a slender figure and black curls, the latter leads the E∂ian movement with a fairly firm hand, while letting his big heart speak. Confident in himself and his strengths, he often behaves with arrogance and mischief, teasing those who dare to challenge him. He is therefore a charismatic leader, whose role will be crucial in the power struggle which is beginning to take shape in the country.

Petunia

Faithful companion of the king, Petunia (Tallulah Greive) is a young E∂ian woman, who has the ability to transform into a dog. It is also in this animal form that she best protects Edward, since it allows her to stay with him at all times. Once changed into a human, she sports long blonde hair and sweet Brown eyeswhich reflect all his goodness, kindness and loyalty.
