Chemillé-en-Anjou. Livres en fête will welcome 60 authors on Sunday November 17

The Tourism and Leisure Association in Chemillois is organizing its 8e Anjou authors' book fair Sunday November 17, festive room of the Théâtre Foirail, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Entrance is free.

During the organizational meeting on Monday October 28, the president, Philippe Gallotte, detailed the program for this day: We will welcome 60 authors, illustrators, publishers, originating from or residing in Anjou or having written about this same region. The list is available on the association's website.

Before adding: “ The spirit of this event is based on the relationship between the book, its author and the public. These authors, as part of a classic fair, will offer their works for signing and will discuss with the public the themes of their works. All themes will be covered: heritage, history, youth, travel, poetry, novel, thriller, nature, well-being, gastronomy, comics… ».

Roxane Dambre as guest of honor

This year, the guest of honor will be Roxane Dambre, Angevine and author of several fantasy, feel-good and romantic comedy books.

In the afternoon, two talks will be organized: at 3 p.m., haiku by Valérie Dauphin, author, then at 4 p.m., the world of Roxane Dambre, author and guest of honor. And all day long, we are offering an exhibition and animation Histoires de porte-plumes, by Chemillois Michèle and Jean-Claude Garcia. It will be possible to try different pens for writing. Jean-Claude Garcia has nearly 300 penholders in 28 different materials.
