Meetings, signings, exclusives… From June 26 to 30, Fnac will pay tribute to romance authors with La Librairito, a 100% female bookstore in partnership with the specialized house of the Hachette group, BMR.
Ten years after the global success of Fifty Shades of grey – which has sold more than 125 million copies worldwide – the New Romance has never been so popular. If romantic comedies have always been a guilty pleasure, these literary sagas are absolutely not considered a guilty pleasure by those who devour them. In Romance, love conquers all.
The works offer an important part to feelings, sexuality and female desire, but also address essential social subjects such as harassment, fatphobia, and consent. Intimate themes and stories, which allow readers to identify more intensely with the characters and maintain special relationships with those who imagined them.

Aware of this phenomenon and this particular link, Fnac wanted to pay tribute to these works and their authors with La Librairito, an original concept of ephemeral bookstore imagined with the specialized editions BMR. For five days, fans of the genre will be able to discover a cutting-edge selection of 190 references, including nine exclusives (Final Offer, Not even cap, Sweet Temptation…) in Paris.
Liv Stone, Anita Riggins, Lorea Springs… The public will also be able to meet novelists during daily signing sessions, between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. These events will be free entry, except those of Jenn Guerrieri and Océane Ghanem, Laura Swan and Emma Bardiau, which will require registration (links to which are at the end of this article).
In parallel with these signings, La Librairito will also offer activities, including speed-editing to learn about the publishing profession, a tea room in the company of influencer partners, or even a masterclass with Laura Swan. Special offers will also be offered to visitors, including a “3 for 2” promotion on books from ITO editions, but also extracts from several highly anticipated romances such as Dirty Air, TM2, Flawless 2 and With You.
