Interest is still evident on the purchasing side: 17,583 visitors have paid for at least one book as of the last Saturday. The price of the average basket of book purchases has increased slightly compared to last year. “An increase to 4 euros for the average basket. We pay all sellers who have put their Books on sale” adds Josianne Franki, president of the Livres 90 association.

The good news is therefore for the 130 sellers of this edition: the profits are returned to them. Among them, comic book authors are celebrating.
Arrangements have already been designed for the future: brought together this year, the different “youth” and “comic strip” authors will perhaps be separated during future editions, in order to generate enthusiasm throughout the duration of the book fair: “we will think about not redoing a sort of final wreath” illustrates Pierre Nétange in his own way.
The results of this 50th edition should therefore allow the fair to continue, even if the next edition has not yet been announced. Detailed accounts will be made by the month of December by the Livres 90 association. The association is already launching a call to volunteer : a call for goodwill has been made.
