The Var Book Festival will take place this year on Friday 22, Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November 2024.
Every year, the Var Department invites readers, authors and booksellers to come together during the Var Book Festival, for 3 days of meetings, signings and debates. The Var Book Festival is one of the last major literary events of the year: it brings together literature, essays, comics, graphic novels and children’s literature and welcomes novelists, essayists, writers for youth, illustrators and screenwriters.
The event offers a time for shared reflection, rereading and celebrating the highlights of the year: literary, political, artistic, sporting, social, national and international.
The Var Book Festival offers a dense program where all literatures are represented and invites you to reread the current year through the eyes of writers: novelists, essayists, children’s writers, illustrators or comic book writers.
