The shelves of the media library are full with 1,000 documents in books, CDs, DVDs, which are ready to be chosen. Located under the village hall and open on Wednesdays from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., the media library allows readers to borrow five books for free for three weeks while supporting village life through this public service provided by the municipality.

Volunteers Claire, Philippe, Clothilde and Delphine are satisfied with the diversity of the various works on the shelves and in the bins: books and albums for children, novels for teenagers and adults, detective stories, science fiction, documentaries, comics, manga, large print books, audio books for the visually impaired, but also to listen to in the car, while cooking. A whole intergenerational panel offered to exchange and enrich oneself.

And if projects are in sight such as activities around reading for children, one certainty is emerging with the November event “Polar, mystery and gumball festival”. An invitation to push open the door of a place that holds so much wealth and knowledge.
