A diverse and varied back-to-school program for the book peeler

The book peeler is getting busy for the start of the school year.

Since mid-September, a new radio literary event entitled “L’épluche-livre” has been presented by a bookseller on Divergence FM weekly. As in cooking, this will be an opportunity to take the time to dissect, skin and peel books and their news. The book world will no longer have any secrets and will even be listenable in podcasts!

Various meetings on the program

Friday, September 20 at 6 p.m. will be the presentation of the literary rentrée by Anne, who will share her selection of novels from the 2024 literary rentrée, during an evening with free admission, at the Jean-d’Ormesson media library in Vendargues.

The creative writing workshops are back with two events. On Saturday, September 21 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., the workshop will be led by Sandrine Bourouba, well known to the public, with an artistically inspired theme. The second workshop on Thursday, September 26 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. will be led by Catherine Robert, a new facilitator at the bookstore. The workshops are accessible by reservation, at a price of €15. During the workshop day, tea or coffee are offered as well as a 5% discount on bookstore purchases.

The “Reading & Signing” meeting with free admission will take place on Friday, September 27 at 6:30 p.m., with Arthur Dreyfus, magician, art critic journalist and author to present his book The third hand published by POL editions He will be accompanied by Elisabeth Masse, professional reader, for a reading aloud of his book.
