Devialet is a recently launched French brand which manufactures high -end audio equipment. Their dione sound bar model is our Best of the test.
Despite its good quality and its very high price, the device is not delivered with a remote control. The operation is fully done via an application. For such a high price, we would expect a remote control. A subwoofer is optional for those who want one.
Sound quality
We can be quite lyrical about sound quality. This is exceptionally good For a soundbar. Speeches and different musical genres are very well reproduced. The only drawback is the Lack of complete bass. Here, you will notice that a subwoofer is missing, but only if you listen to them side by side. As there is no subwoofer or rear speakers, the effects of the film are not excellent but remain very good.
Ease of use
Ease of use is not really great. This is mainly due to the absence of a remote control (usable only with an application) and the absence of a screen on the device. This forces you to look at the status, which can be quite confusing. The soundbar also takes 28 seconds to start Because it requires a network connection.

Sound quality
The DS90Ty produces a balanced and musical sound. This soundbar is specifies in its restitution and lows are highlighted. The details are audible but sometimes not accentuated enough. The dynamic range is good and the maximum volume is also very good. When watching films, the sound is also excellent with many audible sound effects and the bass box is well integrated. Some surround effects are also audible even if there are no rear speakers.
Ease of use
The ease of use of the DS90Ty is solid. There is a hearing aid for the selected source and the remote control keeps in the hand. It is only difficult to adjust the equalizer with the remote control, it is better to do so with the application. The device has a basic LCD screen which is useful for reading the source and the volume.
Connectivity
The DS90Ty has 2 HDMI connections. So you can plug in an external source here. It also has a toslink (optics). The device supports Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, AirPlay2 and Chromecast. You can also buy optional rear speakers. Keep in mind that they only stay on the market for a few years, about 2 to 3 years after the introduction of the soundbar. Energy consumption
Electric consumption in normal monitoring mode is 1.85 W. It is quite high, but there is also an eco mode which barely consumes 0.7 W. Reading, this device consumes 17 W, which is quite low.

The DS70Ty is a mid-range sound bar with subwoofer and configuration of speakers 3.1. This device does not have a network connection.
Sound quality
