The former director general of APROSI, Momath Bâ, will be heard this Wednesday, May 7, 2025 by the investigating judge of the financial judicial pool, reports Dakaracu. It is charged in the context of an alleged diversion of more than 700 million FCFA, a case in which Tabaski Ngom, Treasury inspector, and Moustapha Diop, former minister are also involved.
After having denied the facts accused, Momath Bâ was placed under judicial supervision. He had to pay a deposit of 90 million FCFA. He will now have to answer the judge’s questions about his supposed role in this case to multiple ramifications.
The day before, Tabaski Ngom was heard at the bottom. She gave investigators a discharge of 200 million FCFA, signed, according to her statements, by Moustapha Diop. She also presented an audio recording in which we would hear a discussion between Moustapha Diop and Momath Bâ about the debt concerned.
The next to be summoned is Moustapha Diop, whose parliamentary immunity has been lifted. It is now targeted by two legal proceedings: that linked to this diversion case, and that relating to the controversial management of COVVI-19 funds.
