Transavia takes advantage of the start of the parent company to extend its field of activity. The low -cost company will resume three links operated until then by Air France at Orly airport, from March 29, 2026. It will strengthen its offer on the domestic market by offering up to eight flights per day to Nice, two to Marseille and eight towards Toulouse.
These new lines, whose tickets have been available for sale since Tuesday, May 6 in the morning from 45 euros for a single one, will be active from March 29, 2026. After the final departure of Air France d’Orly, already in progress and which must end in early 2026.
The tricolor company has decided to bring together all its activities in Roissy (Paris-Charles de Gaulle), to give way to Transavia in the airport located south of Paris, now served by line 14 of the metro. The parent company will continue, itself, to serve the same cities in the south of France from CDG, with up to twelve flights to Nice, ten to the Marseille city and twelve to Toulouse. These flights come in frontal competition with SNCF TGVs, perhaps sometimes more expensive and with a longer journey time, but less polluting than the plane.
-Emphasize professional customers
The flights of Transavia, for these three destinations, will start from Orly 2 with planes positioned in contact-that is to say that boarding and landing will be carried out directly from the terminal. “This more fluid route will save time and comfort for our customers who can quickly join line 14,” we are praising at Transavia.
The low-cost carrier wants to go further than the addition of these domestic destinations. “This new offer will be accompanied by developments on our product to improve our quality of service,” says Olivier Mazzucchelli, CEO of the company.
Transavia wishes to focus on its business customers, fond of these domestic flights for professional trips, with, for example, a “strengthening of the flexibility of tickets” or the creation of a “dedicated lounge” in Orly 2 with all the related services.
