-(Keystone-ATS) This exhibition is in the form of eight fictitious dialogues on instant messaging inspired by testimonies. These exchanges make it possible to reveal the negative impact of received ideas on the lives of people, whether young people, seniors, beneficiaries of social assistance, racialized or asylum.
Words may seem harmless, almost banal, but they hide a well -established reality: those of prejudices. These are expressed in a more and more uninhibited and trivialized way.
“Between the lines” shows how stereotypes affect self -confidence, relationship to others and access to the job market. The objective is to invite reflection, even to a change of perspective. The exhibition was designed with Valérie Martinez, who had already set up in 2023 with the general hospice the exhibition on women “them, here and now”.
