For the first time, the Benqué-Molere, Sarlabous, Tilhouse and Bourg-de-Bigorre holiday committees are organizing a day that will mix sport and festive evening at the Moulin des Baronnies.
Benqué-Molere, a pretty little town near Lannemezan, has a festival committee that knows how to do things big. Indeed, he had the great idea of joining three other municipalities to create the first party that combines sport and various entertainment, on May 24. Cécile Saint-Martin, who is the president, explained the idea of the start of this meeting: “In recent years, at the Benqué-Molere festival committee, we have been thinking about setting up a day rich in different activities to animate the village. We had the idea of offering the Sarlabous, Tilhouse and Bourg-de-Bigorre committees to join us, and all of them Party that will take place at the Moulin des Baronnies “.
An obvious choice, given the ability of the places to welcome the public in an exceptional setting. A rich and varied program that should fill all generations, especially with regard to the sports component. This is the desire of the organizers: “There will be different sports activities in partnership with the Foyer Rural, rugby with our players, volleyball with the Tilhouse Foyer, but also football, pétanque, without forgetting the participation of Bourg-de-Bigorre table tennis. There will also be games for children, an inflatable castle, and all that will be offered will be supervised by committees secure”.
-Bandas and Concert
A beautiful first in perspective which shows that the union does not only force, but also a demonstration which should bring together many people. The program will offer activities for all tastes and all ages. “We are also going to offer pancakes, a refreshment bar, ice creams following activities, and then we have planned an aperitif animated by the Banda Les Gais Lurons, who will make the music of the Baronnies resonate. In the evening, there will be grills so that people can eat on the spot, and at 10 p.m., make way for a concert with the hello 80’s group, which will come up with the president.” From the Benqué-Molere festival committee, which invites the inhabitants of the Baronnies and besides coming to join the party.
This first celebration, mounted from scratch by four holiday committees, could well be the beginning of a beautiful and fruitful collaboration between this kind of structures, which would allow the implementation of events such as this one. The organizers hope for a good weather, but if it was not the case, a solution was found all: “We will have the possibility of a withdrawal under a marquee, so we are serene”.
The organizers were able to count on many supporters that Cécile Saint-Martin wanted to thank: “The Departmental Council granted us a subsidy through a fund intended to support the small associations. We thank Joëlle Abadie and Nicolas Datas, our departmental advisers, but also the CCPL and the town hall of Sarlabous for infrastructures”. Everything is ready to welcome revelers, or perhaps sports revelers on May 24 at the Moulin des Baronnies.
