What happened to Agathe H., this 28-year-old young woman who disappeared on April 10 by jogging? This will try to determine the investigators after the discovery of the unhappy body on Sunday in Vivonne (west). According to “Le Parisien”, the young woman’s body was found by a walker in an undergrowth a little away from the trails, in an area that the jogger frequented very often. The body was not buried.
In the days following the disappearance of Agathe, the gendarmes had reduced the research perimeter to an area of three square kilometers, after having analyzed the running application that the disappeared used and on the basis of several testimonies. However, the body of the jogger was finally found several hundred meters from this area, which intrigues the investigators. It is certainly possible that Agathe decided to extend her journey by a few kilometers that day.
The fact remains that the area where the sad discovery was made weakens the hypothesis of discomfort in the eyes of the authorities. Indeed, the gendarmes think that it is unlikely that the twenty-year-old, feeling weak, has engaged in this isolated undergrowth. The French daily recalls, however, that Actathe suffered from anorexia and that it weighed only 35 kilos, elements that call for caution.
For several weeks, investigators have favored the criminal track, a testimony having mentioned the presence of an “ladle” individual in this corner. “The autopsy carried out today did not make it possible to determine, at this stage, the causes of the death. Several additional analyzes are underway, in order to continue the investigations, ”said prosecutor Cyril Lacombe on Monday. In particular, it will be a question of focusing on the personal effects found near the corpse of Agathe. New analyzes will also be carried out on the victim’s body.
In Vivonne, “psychosis has settled,” says a 42 -year -old jogger. “I hope it is not a murder (…) This is something, here in such a calm city, we do not expect,” confides a resident worried to BFMTV. “Before, I liked walking in the evening, now I don’t want to go running alone. And I don’t let my little boy go to the bus stop which is less than 100 meters from our house, ”adds another local resident.
