Tourism in Morocco: 5.7 million arrivals recorded at the end of April 2025, up 23 %
Morocco welcomed 5.7 million tourists in the first four months of 2025, an increase of 23 % compared to the same period in 2024, according to data from the Ministry of Tourism, Crafts and Social and Solidarity Economy.
In an official press release, the ministry underlines: “Morocco records an exceptional performance with one million additional visitors in just four months. These results position the kingdom among the most dynamic tourist destinations worldwide. »»
-The month of April alone recorded 1.7 million arrivals, marking growth of 27 % compared to April 2024, which testifies to a tourist attractiveness which is now less dependent on traditional seasons.
The Minister of Tourism, Fatim-Zahra Ammor, said: “One million additional visitors at the start of the year, a usually calmer period, is a strong signal for the tourist prospects of 2025.”
It also highlighted the results of the national strategy: “This remarkable growth is the fruit of the tourist roadmap implemented under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him.
