(Keystone-ATS) The owner of the manufacturer, Citychamp Watch & Jewellery Group, sold, via a “buy-out”, the company in Haso Mehmedovic, said Corum in a statement. The latter, new director and chairman of the board of directors, started there as a watchmaker before climbing the ladder and being promoted to sales director.
The transaction was led by Haso Mehmedovic, 32, “accompanied by a group of experienced Swiss investors”. “All of the brand’s industrial and commercial activities, with patents, intellectual property and archives, are called upon to continue and be reorganized in a new dynamic. »»

The current year will be devoted to the strengthening of the collections, specifies the press release. “The global recovery is scheduled for mid-2026, with a refocusing on the brand’s DNA and its prestigious heritage”. Founded just 70 years ago, the watch brand has changed owners many times from the year 2000.
Since 2013, Corum has belonged to the Citychamp Watch & Jewellery group, based in Hong Kong. He has agreed to separate from this watchmaking flagship, the activity of which has been considerably reduced in recent years.
