The famous host commented on the rumor of his possible cessation of the presentation of the Miss France competition, a task which he has been carrying out for three decades…
It all started with – false – information launched by the blogger Clément Garin (“known” for having already relayed, during the last Cannes Film Festival, an – equally false – list of film people allegedly accused of sexual assault) ensuring that Jean-Pierre Foucault would no longer host the event.

“I have some very bad news to announce to my detractors: I think I will be in command of the 31st [édition de Miss France] ; I’m even sure of it,” quipped the unmistakable presenter on Europe 1.
He then gently mocked Clément Garin, “the one who said about Vincent Lagaf’, who attracted 1.8 million viewers: “If it’s 150,000 viewers, I’ll cut one, and if it exceeds 200,000 , I cut both”… so I think the anesthetist must have forced it a little”.
