It’s a tablet like we rarely see. And for good reason, you read it in the title, a 3K OLED screen compatible with Dolby Vision and HDR10+, that makes you want it. Especially when there are 500 euros less at E.Leclerc.
You would think that its screen is that of a laptop PC, as the quality is there, but you will have to pinch yourself several times: the Lenovo Tab Extreme is indeed a touchscreen tablet. No need to look for the equivalent among the competition, it is unique in its kind and even slightly tickles the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, minus the price. And fortunately this 39% reduction is there at E.Leclerc, because the base price can be a little scary.
What to expect with the Lenovo Tab Extreme
- Unsurprisingly, its 14.5″ 3K 120 Hz OLED screen
- The sound part which was entrusted to the specialist JBL
- Thanks for the Lenovo Precision Pen 3
This tablet usually costs the (not) modest sum of 1299 euros. But to start 2025 off on the right foot, E.Leclerc is offering a reduction of 500 euros on it, allowing you to order it for 799 euros.
You won’t find better than its screen
The spearhead of the Lenovo Tab Extreme is of course its screen. The brand has put all its know-how into offering a premium panel, a 3K OLED screen which therefore displays a resolution of 3000 x 1876 pixels with fluidity which can go up to 120 images per second. So if you plan to play with it, you will be in extremely good conditions. In addition to that, the screen is HDR10+ and Dolby Vision compatible, which optimizes brightness, contrast and colorimetry.
Especially since the screen measures 14.5″, which more or less corresponds to what a laptop screen offers. So a tablet which, despite all its qualities, is a little imposing and therefore not necessarily practical to hold, especially for moments of relaxation. If you hold her at arm’s length in your bed, be careful not to let her go or fall asleep!
The ideal tablet for multitasking
If we look at what the Lenovo Tab Extreme has in its belly, we find a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip, a direct competitor to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, more recent, but not necessarily more powerful. To support the performance of the processor, you have 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage space, enough to accommodate all your games and apps. Besides, Lenovo hasn’t done things by halves if you plan to work with it since the tablet can be divided into 4 and display up to 10 floating windows simultaneously.
On the sound side, it is not left out either since you have eight integrated JBL speakers and Dolby Atmos compatibility to immerse yourself in the heart of your films and series like never before. In addition, you will be able to enjoy it for a long time because the 12,300 mAh battery allows, according to Lenovo, to watch 12 hours of video on a single charge. To avoid spoiling anything, it is compatible with 68W fast charging and recharges with its USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port which also serves as a DP output, a USB-C 2.0 port which serves as a DP input and there is even a card slot microSD.
