The two actors, who share their daily lives, are starring in the comedy The Hennedricks Family in theaters this Wednesday, June 26.

“Their funny blended family.” This is the subject of Laurence Arné’s latest film, in which she plays the main role alongside her companion on screen and in life, Dany Boon. For The Hennedricks Family, the director was inspired, among other things, by her own family life which she has led for almost six years with the director of Welcome to the Ch’tis. The couple was invited to the set of “C à vous” by Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine to discuss their current affairs.

The presenter then wanted to emphasize that as an actress but above all a director, Laurence Arné had put a lot of herself into this first feature film. “In particular the guilt of the first separation and of wanting at all costs to do everything so that your child wants to believe in the family in a second formation, a second reunification. For love, do everything so that they play the game », explained the 42-year-old woman. In the film – as perhaps in real life – it is thanks to the “flexibility and non-verbal communication” of the companion, in this case Dany Boon, that the links managed to be created.

And when Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine tried to dissociate fiction from reality, the response was clear. “That’s what we did with our children. I redialed several times myself”, specified the actor having had a boy with Sophie Hermelin, a second with Judith Godrèche then two boys and a girl with Yaël Harris. Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine then clarified that the actor had 5 children and his partner was the mother of a child born from her union with Jérôme Duchamps.

“It’s a little unbalanced, I admit that”he said in a humorous tone before continuing: “they all adore each other and when we’re all together it’s a happy mess”. Note directly completed by his companion: “it’s completely dysfunctional”. Dany Boon then took the opportunity to return to the heart of the subject: the film. “She talks about that in her film, about the mother, the mother-in-law and the mental load. And to bring this family together, and it’s very beautiful. I love the movie. »
